Who is Alliance?
Founded in 2001, Alliance Drawback Services, is a Licensed Customs broker that specializes in the assessment, implementation, and of duty drawback recovery programs. Alliance provides a turnkey drawback solution that transfers the administrative burden of the drawback process from our client's staff to Alliance's staff of drawback professionals.
We assist the trade community in collecting tens of millions in drawback recoveries each year. Prominent drawback clients include Sunsweet Growers, Logitech and Luxottica and Control 4 Corporation to name a few.
What separates us from other providers?
We do drawback every day all day long. We do not offer other brokerage and logistics related services. Drawback requires highly specialized systems, expertise, and business processes that requires a full time commitment. We continually educate our account managers on regulatory requirements of drawback and courage them to secure Customs house brokerage licenses. 50% of our account mangers are licensed brokers and Alliance is licensed as a corporate entity.

Data Analytics and Document Processing for High Transaction Drawback:
Drawback programs vary dramatically based on a variety of factors. We specialize in challenging drawback programs with large import and export data sets that we require advanced data manipulation and analytics. Example, one of our large semi truck manufacturers imports thousands of transactions with hundreds of thousands of lines of invoice data. Most import entries are subject to reconciliation and a variety of other post entry adjustments making the amount of duty paid a moving target. All our account managers possess the advanced systems knowledge needed to work with large complex data sets.
Founder & CEO
Tony brings drawback experience in a variety of industries including electronics, steel, chemicals, titanium and textiles. He has developed and presented more than 20 duty drawback seminars to potential drawback filers and industry trade groups. In 1988 he graduated with honors from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a minor in economics. He also is a licensed customs broker.
Nicole Kartchner, Director of Operations, joined Alliance in 2009 on a part-time basis while pursuing her secondary degree in nursing. Nicole developed a passion for the drawback business and now manages some of Alliance's largest and most challenging accounts. As a drawback systems specialist, Nicole also manages the conversion of data files provided by our clients for eventual import into our drawback processing software. In this function, Nicole developed numerous specialized reporting applications to enhance data integrity and drawback claim accuracy.
Executive Account Manager
Anna Armijo, Executive Account Manager, joined Alliance in 2015 after completing her bachelor’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. Anna ensures Duty Drawback programs remain effortless for our clients. As an information systems specialist, Anna contributes comprehensive analyses that assists in maintaining data integrity and provides clients with customized reported.
